BUFFALO, NY - Actor Keanu Reeves had no problem getting into Buffalo-area jails. The feds have not been so lucky.
The star of "The Matrix movie trilogy last weekend scouting locations for a new movie. His visit included visits to two jail facilities, which are the target of a lawsuit the U.S. Justice Department accused Sheriff's Department to Erie County civil rights violations of human rights.
County officials have barred federal investigators from prison, but Reeves was given visits to the facility on Sunday.
Then county officials said Reeves should not have allowed in prisons.
Reeves was looking at possible locations for the film "The Crime of Henry," which casts him as a toll worker unjustly accused of robbing a bank in Buffalo.
